::: Zhangjiagang :::

Zhangjiagang is located in the Jiangsu province north of Shanghai, in the downstream area of the Yangtze River along the Eastern coastline. Jiangsu is known as the “country of fish and rice” and the “land of rivers and lakes”. The two names allude to the rich, fertile land or the region that is criss-crossed by a network of rivers and canals, and dotted with lakes and reservoirs. The province has many cultural highlights, like the Confucius Temple (Fuzimiao) in Nanjing, capital of the province and one of the six ancient capitals of China.

Jiangsu and Zhangjiagang are also renowned for its textile cluster. Howard Zhang, formerly of the Beijing office, opened this branch in 2004 to better serve the area. He joined the group in 1998 and has acquired a wealth of knowledge about our fibres and markets. He and his team are totally dedicated to servicing customers’ requirements. Thanks to operating from the Zhangjiagang Bonded Zone, one of the most active in China, this office has become a hub for serving other Far Eastern markets.
